LaSalle Computer Learning Center’s Project Management department strives to deliver high-quality instructor led courses to individuals seeking the Project Management Body of Knowledge.  Through experienced and certified instructors we strive to deliver classes that meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Project Management Diploma Program
This combination training class is designed for individuals who would like to explore an in depth study of Project Management.  Experienced and non-experienced individuals will benefit from this interactive, instructor – led course.

In this program students will learn concepts from the The PMBOK Guide ® and Microsoft Project. They will complete interactive and hands-on  exercises to solidify their knowledge and prepare for the prestigious MCTS: Managing Projects with Project 2010, and one of the following certification the CAPM® - Certified Associate Project Manager, or the PMP® - Project Management Professional® (for those who meet the prerequisite knowledge.)

Project Management Basics
This interactive and instructor-led course teaches the fundamentals of project management. Students learn how to identify project participants, goals, objectives, activities, and constraints. Course activities also cover activity dependencies, activity analysis, project schedules and budgets, network diagrams, Gantt charts, CPM scheduling, and activity duration compression. Students will also learn how to optimize project activities, estimate costs, control project changes, measure project performance, use project performance reports, accommodate change, control the project schedule and budget, and close a project. Comes with a companion CBT program for review and continued learning outside of the classroom. - Corporate Class Only -

Microsoft Project - Individual Course               
This instructor-led, hands-on course teaches the basic  to advanced functions and features of Project . Students will learn how to create a new project file, create and modify task lists, create a Work Breakdown Structure, and work with task relationships. They'll also learn how to create a base calendar, assign resources to tasks, create task calendars, create and modify tables, baseline and interim plans, analysis of project statistics, project file formatting, custom views, and file consolidation. Students will use filters and groups, and they'll sort task and resource data. Finally, they will learn how to resolve resource conflicts. This course prepares students to earn the prestigious MCTS: Microsoft Office Project 2007, Managing Projects exam – 70-632. This course comes with Microsoft Official online learning to compliment the classroom environment and allow for continuous study of the materials presented.

CAPM® / PMP® Preparation Course - Individual Course       
PMP® Prep is designed to prepare students for the certification exam that is offered by the Project Management Institute® (PMI)®. This in depth course covers all five process groups and nine knowledge areas in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide)®. This course also covers the professional responsibility performance domain and key concepts not detailed in the PMBOK Guide ®. Participants will learn testing techniques and complete sample test questions that will help them pass the exam and obtain the PMP® designation. Individuals should have a basic knowledge of the PMBOK Guide® and Project Management Principles prior to attending.
Students who enroll in PMP® Prep are provided with valuable study tips and tools that they can use as they prepare for the PMP® exam. The course covers over 1000 questions based on the knowledge areas of the exam. There are numerous questions in a slide show format for learners who value the flash card style of study. Students also receive a glossary of key project management terms as well as the PMBOK Guide®.
